Ziggurat of Ur

It is considered one of the oldest temples that remained in Iraq, located about 40 km west of the city of Nasiriyah, 340 km south of Baghdad, which was built by the founder of the third “Ur” dynasty, and its greatest king in the year 2050 BC. It is considered evidence that people at that time embraced wide religions that were important in their lives.
