Unknown Soldier Monument

The Monument to the Unknown Soldier is an example of modern architectural models and an embodiment of the idea, design and operation that created concepts and expressions which are very wonderful and creative. The work of the monument was completed in July 1980. The monument is located in Karkh area near Al-Zawraa Park, and was made by the Iraqi artist Khalid Al-Rahhal.
