It is located in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, on the side of Rusafa. This monument was built to commemorate the martyrs of Iraq. It is designed by the Iraqi architect Saman Asaad Kamal and the Iraqi artist Ismail Fattah Al-Turk. The cost of implementing the monument from the Iraqi treasury was a quarter of a billion dollars, and the monument was built by the Japanese company Mitsubishi, according to the strict specifications set by the Ove Arup association and its partners in engineering investments.
