Karius Temple

Karius is a “Parthian” deity, and he was known through ancient inscriptions and writings that were found in the city of Warka (Uruk), and it is considered one of the most important temples located near the ancient city of Warka. Its construction dates back to the era of the Seleucid or Parthian state, and it is the latest building of the Akkadian civilization – and Babylonian.
