House of the Prophet Ibrahim Al-Khalil

One of the most important archaeological sites in the province, and it is located near the Ziggurat of Ur, and its construction dates back to about six thousand years BC. The site of the house of the Prophet Ibrahim Al-Khalil was discovered by a British committee for archaeological excavations headed by Levan Dooley, who was guided to the discovery of the house thanks to a clay tablet written in Aramaic Abraham.
